We know you may have some questions! Here are the most frequently asked questions we hear from clients while booking their Winter Mini Newborn Session.

How do we book our session, and can we book on weekends?

Click on any of the blue buttons on this website and fill out the information form. Once you hit submit you can either pay for your session and reserve your session right away or wait for us to call you within 24 business hours to chat with you and book on the phone. Yes! We photograph on select weekends for an additional fee during the winter months.

Can I include parents and siblings in the Winter Mini Newborn Portrait Sessions?

As our time together for a Winter Mini Newborn Portrait Session is extremely limited to just 60 minutes together, these sessions are designed for Baby Only posing OR Baby + Parents only (no individual images of just the baby unless time allows). If you would like older siblings or a combination of baby and parent/sibling/family posing, we suggest reserving a full newborn session. Please inquire using the form above.

Do I need to bring anything for my baby?

Yes! Please be sure to bring a food source (i.e. extra bottles if bottle feeding) and a pacifier, even if you think your baby won't take one. Other than that, we've got your baby covered! We provide a wide array of wraps & fabrics, headbands & bonnets to use for your baby during the session.

Does my baby need to sleep during the session?

Although it is ideal that Baby be in a deep sleep during the session to get the most variety of images, as long as your baby is happy & content, we can still capture some beautiful images if they are awake. One of our favorites for awake babies are "Baby Mugshots" in which we capture all the fun faces your little one makes.

How many photos do you take?

During a winter mini newborn portrait session, we aim for the following poses/highlights for Baby Only Sessions:
1. Baby asleep & wrapped - full body
2. Profile of Baby
3. Details of baby such as fingers, toes, nose, lips, eyelashes, etc.
4. Baby in various "table poses" or wrapped in a prop.

For Parent Posing sessions we aim for the following:
1. Baby in Mom's arms in a variety of poses
2. Baby in Dad's arms in a variety of poses
3. Baby + Mom +Dad for a variety of family poses (solid backdrop & backlit)
4. Baby in Mom and/or Dad's hands in "Lion King" pose

After your session, we edit through your images and prepare them for you to view. We invite you to come back to the studio within a week of your session to view your images on our big screen TV. This is when you choose your favorites to order. From most mini newborns sessions we show between 15-30 images.

Do you offer digital images?

Yes we do! They are available to purchase from your session in a variety of ways. We want our clients to have printed versions of their images to last a lifetime, but we know how important digital images are to moms as well! All of our custom-designed albums come with matching digital images. You can also purchase a collection of high-resolution digital images starting at $595.
